"Schooling to Operating"

            From a young age, I've been impressed with those who are called to be healers and help the sick, injured, or diseased. It is their important role in society that has drawn me to medicine and inspired me in my own dream to pursue a professional career dedicated to helping others.

            As I strive to be a doctor someday, it is important to me that I serve people with both compassion and knowledge. I know that becoming a physician will require years of hard work, determination, and perseverance on my part, but I am fully committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve this dream. In addition, I will continue to expand my knowledge of Science and Health through studying, to understand what it means to care for others.

        
    Being a physician involves more than just caring for the sick or injured; it involves teaching and encouraging your community on how to live a healthy lifestyle and prevent disease. There is no doubt that I will continue making positive choices into the future, and when I wear my white coat as a symbol of my dedication, I will wear it with pride, serving my fellow community members with kindness and compassion. It is this dream that drives me each day to continue learning and to be the best person I can be.

“Always on Valentine’s Day with Recognition”

            Valentine’s Day, celebrated every February 14, is a reminder that love is more than romance—it is about kindness, appreciation, and thoughtfulness. The day is often connected to Saint Valentine, whose story became a symbol of faithful and selfless love. Over time, countries like our country, the Philippines, and many others embraced the tradition of expressing love not only to partners but also to friends, family, and even classmates. At its heart, Valentine’s Day encourages us to value the people around us.

   

            More than gifts and greetings, this day also reminds us of the importance of gratitude and recognition. Research shared by the Greater Good Science Center shows that expressing appreciation can strengthen relationships and improve well-being. Even a simple acknowledgment can boost confidence and motivation. When we recognize someone’s effort, we make them feel seen, valued, and encouraged to keep going.

            On this special Valentine’s celebration, we proudly recognize ourselves for our achievements this 3rd quarter. Each late night of studying, every challenge faced, and all the small victories we earned truly matter. We have shown growth, determination, and resilience. As learners, we celebrate not only our grades but also our effort and progress. Today, we honor our hard work and remind ourselves that we are capable of even greater success in the quarters ahead.

"Intayon, Ilocos Sur Festival"

            The recent Ilocos Sur Festival brought festivity to many Ilocanos and happiness throughout the nation. The festival was full of music, dancing, and the smiles on their faces. Showcasing the bright, rich culture and tradition of the most prominent provinces of the Philippines, wherein many people from different towns joined together to celebrate the festival.

            During the festival, there were many events that occurred during those long weeks, showing the talents of local dancers and singers, that encourage us to travel to that particular place within. The colorful costumes and lively music made a promising scenario throughout the journey of the festival. The parade and the street dancing were one of the highlights where every individuals' showcase their pride and unity. Every individual who performed in this event presents the town's identity and creativity.

            

            Aside from the performances, there were also booths selling delicacies and local products. Visitors tasted the delicious Ilocano dishes that have been the hallmark of the festival, of course, not only that, but also supported the small businesses. The festival helped bring the community closer and reminded everyone of the beauty of their culture.
