"From Sweat to Spotlight: Our ISNHS Day Journey"

Before the celebration:

            The Ilocos Sur National High School Day celebration was more than just an event for me—it was a journey that started long before the actual day. While making our props, I realized how much patience and teamwork were needed. There were moments when things didn’t go as planned, and it felt frustrating, but those challenges also brought us closer as a group. During our practices, I could feel both excitement and pressure building up. We repeated steps over and over, sometimes getting tired, yet still choosing to push through because we all wanted to give our best.

During the celebration:

            When the day of the celebration finally came, everything felt different. During the parade, I felt a mix of nervousness and pride as we walked together, representing our class and school. The energy of the crowd, the music, and the colorful performances made the experience unforgettable. When it was our turn to perform, my heart was beating fast, but as soon as we started, all the fear slowly turned into confidence. It wasn’t just about getting the steps right—it was about enjoying the moment and sharing our hard work with everyone watching.

After the celebration:

            Looking back, the entire experience taught me so much beyond just performing. I learned the value of cooperation, resilience, and believing in myself even when I feel unsure. It also made me appreciate the people around me—my classmates, teachers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. This celebration became a memory I will always carry with me, not just because of the performance, but because of the growth and connections I gained along the way.
